Yes, Singapore Life Saving Society (SLSS) issues the certification after passing of each course exam.
SLSS is the only organization that can issue all lifesaving certification, including the SLSS Bronze Medallion (BM) certification which is a pre-requisite to work as a Lifeguard in Singapore.
Anyone who is a good swimmer (able to swim Free-Style and Breast-Stroke for 200 Meters) or possesses National Survival Swimming Award (NASSA) Silver award, SwimSafer Silver or higher are eligible to join the course.
